Job Description

Closer&Closer is looking for an enthusiastic and growth-oriented Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator. You live for the details and get things done. In this role, you will be responsible for executing our marketing strategy by managing our social channels, website, compiling data, and coordinating all marketing campaigns and projects.

You should be experienced in project management and social media management, with a keen attention to detail — all with a deep love of working with people.

Summary of Responsibilities

Management of Communication & Marketing Channels
  • Managing social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Behance, Pinterest, TikTok)
  • Exploring new social media channels for further community engagement
  • Building and distributing email newsletters
  • Updating and maintaining the website
  • Creating and editing social media content
  • Scheduling and coordinating artist social media takeovers

Project Management
  • Executing marketing projects
  • Creating and coordinating project boards
  • Coordinating artist participation in company marketing campaigns
  • Sending marketing campaigns to company contacts
  • Coordinating and communicating client presentations with artists

Administration
  • Setting up weekly meeting agendas
  • Setting up quarterly artist calls
  • Entering/tracking data pertaining to company social and marketing growth
  • Researching social media trends and translating them for our artists’ use

Compensation Range: $50,000-$60,000/year
Desired Start Date: January 30th, 2023

Job Requirements

Experience: 
  • Experienced social media platform skills (Instagram, Behance, Pinterest, Tik Tok, etc.)
  • Intermediate (or greater) community management skills
  • Intermediate (or greater) experience with social media analytics reporting
  • Intermediate (or greater) project management skills
  • 1-3 years experience with social media marketing or other communications role preferred
  • Consideration given for: i) past work with artists; ii) familiarity with creative projects like commercial illustrations, design and animation; iii) CRM experience
  • High School Diploma required - College degree preferred

Technical Skills: 
  • Intermediate (or greater) experience with Mailchimp (or comparable), Later (or comparable), etc.
  • Entry-level (or greater) experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva (Graphic Design) with the willingness to learn
  • Understanding of G Suite software
  • The ability to create decks as needed
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management tool
  • Experience with online forms (Typeform or Squarespace)

Location

Preferred: Los Angeles or Austin
Preferred time zones: PST-MST

Working Setup

Please note this is a remote position
The team member must have a presentable Home Office. Closer&Closer will provide a computer and all software needed to perform the job.

Hours

8:30am to 5:30pm in your respective time zone, Monday through Friday.
