The Weekly: Meet Our Newest Artists!
Every week we share news from the roster that we think you should know about. This week I want to introduce you to some new names on the roster! Meet Nanna Prieler, Helen Li, and Uijung Kim. Three incredibly talented illustrators that you’re going to want to follow. Each of them brings a totally unique style of illustration to the roster and each of them are delightful human beings. Make sure to shoot them a note or give them a follow on social media. They’d love to hear from you.
Nanna Prieler is an illustrator based in Vienna, Austria. She is experimenting with colors to process ideas and translate them into her own visual language, which she would describes as a play between round and square, fine and rough, figurative and abstract, obvious and absurd.
Helen Li is an Australian illustrator currently living and working in Warsaw, Poland. She holds an MFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, New York City. Clients include Google, The Lily, Lenny Letter, Longreads and more. When she’s not drawing, she trains in mixed martial arts and explores the wild with her husband and dog.
Uijung Kim is originally from South Korea. These days she lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. She’s inspired by her childhood experiences and the family and friends that she grew up with. She loves making fun, happy illustrations with bold lines and powerful color palettes. Her work is strongly rooted in Korean culture through color, tone and narrative. It’s who she is. Her main purpose for making art is that she wants people to feel happy when they see her illustrations.
